The Story

“Santoku" means an all-purpose knife, including meat, fish, and vegetables. It is designed to have both features of Japanese Nakiri (vegetable knife) and Japanese Gyuto (meat knife). Being highly convenient and practical, it is most widely used in households. Recommended for those new to Japanese kitchen knives and novice cooks.This beauty has an 5" Damascus steel razor sharp blade, from tip to heel and is ready to cut!  It's everything you need to start cooking better meals.

Sharpness That Lasts

Kasumi knives are made with strong high-carbon Damascus steel, offering a great balance between sharp edge retention and durability with a higher carbon content than other so called “premium” knives.

Perfectly Well Balanced

Forged construction incorporating a sloped bolster that travels gradually onto the blade face for better comfort, control and handle balance.

8° Blade Angles 

While most Western-style knives have edge angles of 25 degrees, the Kasumi Kiritsuke japanese knife has a more acute 8 degree angle for a noticeably sharper cutting face.
